Installation Notes
JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGER
JRSC installs take 3 days minimum due to the requirement for the Hondata ECU Re-flash. It takes at least 3 business days for the ECU to come back. Actual JRSC install takes 5-6 hours. The car stays garaged while it awaits the reprogrammed ECU.
RACE HEADERS
Use of a race header will cause the ECU to display a Check Engine Light (CEL) unless an O2 simulator is used. Due to the elimination of the Catalyst, race headers are for off-road use only!
REAR STRUT TOWER BARS
Installation of rear strut tower bars may require cutting into plastic panels.
HEADLIGHT BLACKOUT
For best results, it takes time for paint to fully cure/dry before re-assembling the headlight. Loaner sets are available on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. Blacked out headlights are guaranteed not to leak and will be repaired free of charge if they do.
LOWERING SPRINGS & COIL-OVERS
Alignments are not included with the install of lowering springs or coilovers. However, it is highly recommended that the vehicle gets a full alignment job after any suspension work is performed. Karen Radley Acura is able to work with lowered vehicles on their alignment rack.
